I am a freelance writer who moved to Austin via Boston in 2002 in order to escape bitter Northeast winters and pursue a master’s degree in print journalism at the University of Texas. First published at the age of five, I have written for many publications including the Austin Business Journal, the Jewish Outlook, AustinFit magazine, RunTex.com, Texas Family, howstuffworks.com, the Austin Chapter of the Association for Women in Communications’ newsletter and the Texas Rural Water Association’s magazine, Quality on Tap. When not busy interviewing and writing, I spend time with my husband and three young children and race triathlons in the Texas heat. My experience includes: The Jewish Outlook, Austin, TX; Texas Rural Water Association, Austin, TX; Texas Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, Austin, TX ; Austin Travis County Mental Health Mental Retardation Center, Austin, TX; Texas Medical Association, Austin, TX; University of Massachusetts, Boston, MA; United States Navy; Radioman Education: University of Texas at Austin; Austin, TX Bachelor of Arts in English literature.
